Archery Shoot
This year, the Wyoming County Fair will again host its annual Archery Shoot. There will be classes for men, women and youth. Please see the pre-registration form contained in this premium book for all the classes and details. You may also register the day of the shoot. For more information, contact Cathy Bliss 570-885-5501. There is no special entry fee for this event, your admission into the Fair is your entry fee.

Baby Show
Children, ages 3 months through 4 years old are eligible, and prizes are awarded for each age group and gender. There is also an award given for the best overall boy and girl.

Kiddie Tractor Pull/Race
This competition will be held on Sunday at 3:00 PM in the Dairy Arena. It is for boys and girls between the ages of four (4) and ten (10). To enter, contestants should present themselves at the Dairy Arena at the time of the event. There is no entry fee. Pedal tractors will be furnished. All a child had to do is show up and have fun.

Kids Power Wheels Demo Derby
This competition is for children 3-10 years of age and will be held on Sunday at 1:00 PM in the Claverack Tent. All entries must present themselves at the Claverack Tent at 12:00 PM for registration and vehicle inspection. All drivers must supply their own car and set it up according to the rules. Fair Queen Contest
The purpose of the Fair Queen Contest is to encourage the promotion of agricultural fairs and to create better relations between youth and adults in both the rural and urban settings. The Queen is selected based upon – among other things – poise, written and verbal communications, and her knowledge of the fair industry. Local and state winners collect scholarship prizes.

Junior Fair Queen Contest
This contest is for the younger ladies. The intent is to provide a preview of the Fair Queen Contest for 12 to 15 year old potential entries of the future. This is a local contest with no advancement to any further judging. It will require each contestant to do a conversational interview and present a short speech. All contestants will receive a participation gift and the winner earns a cash prize.

PA Preferred Junior Baking Cookies, Brownies and Bars Contest
In conjunction with the Classic Cake Contest, is a cookie, brownie, and bar baking contest for youth 8 to 18 sponsored by the Wyoming County Fair. Winners will earn a cash prize!

There are also several categories for Youth.
