DRIVERS MUST BE 18 YEARS OF AGE AND HAVE PROOF OF AGE.

ALL DRIVERS MUST SUPPLY THEIR OWN CARS. Entries limited to one (1) car per driver per night.

NO HORSEPLAY IN PIT AREA. THIS MAY LEAD TO DISQUALIFICATION. DRIVE SENSIBLY AND PAY ATTENTION.

THERE IS A 5-MPH SPEED LIMIT IN THE PIT AREA. IF NOT OBEYED, THIS WILL LEAD TO DISQUALIFICATION.

DOORS MUST BE PAINTED WHITE.

ANY AMERICAN MADE STOCK HARDTOP AUTOMOBILE OR STATION WAGON IS ALLOWED UNDER 4800 POUNDS. No trucks, jeeps, four-wheel drives, etc. will be allowed.

2. All cars must have a stock hood with a hole cut over the carburetor.

3. All stock fan blades must be removed. An electric fan with plastic or nylon blades is acceptable.

4. Antifreeze must be removed and can be replaced with water. If not removed, card is disqualified.

5. The brakes must be in working order for safety purposes on the track.

All transmission coolers may be moved to the rear seat area and must be totally enclosed, including the lines. No fans due to fire hazard.

Loading of tires is not allowed.

All glass, chrome trim, locks, and anything else that might become imbedded in the tack must be removed. Also, anything inside the car that is a fire hazard must be removed, including car interior (except drivers door panel) and trunk carpet and pad. Car must be cleaned out, including trunk. Remove fiberglass nosepieces. NO WINDSHIELDS …please cover with wire screen.

All stock gas tanks are to be removed from the car and replaced with an approved fuel cell to be installed in the rear passenger compartment behind the driver's seat or in the center of the compartment. TANKS MUST BE FASTENED DOWN SECURELY AND BE COVERED BY A FIREWALL.

No reinforcements of any kind will be allowed. Remove trailer hitches. The maximum height of the bumpers is 20 inches from the ground to center of the bumper.

Safety belts, helmets, and eye protection are required. All doors must be welded or tied securely with cable or chain. If a driver's door comes open, he will be disqualified. Do not use chains on the hood.

Do not weld or bolt trunk lids down. Use wire or chain.

All cars must be removed from the grounds by the owner no later than 11:00 AM the day following the derby!! This is your responsibility, so make arrangements before the derby! After 11:00 AM all cars left become the property of a salvage hauler designated by the Kiwanis Club.

Drivers must maneuver forward and backward. NO deliberate ramming of the driver's door is allowed.

A time limit will be set by the judges. If a driver does not hit a live car within the time limit, this can lead to disqualification. DO NO PLAY POSSUM AND NO TEAMING UP.

Feature cars must have been run in a prior heat.

Additional safety regulations may be imposed depending on the track. Rules subject to change to fit the even. The decisions of the judges are final.

NO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES PERMITTED ANYWHERE ON THE FAIRGROUNDS! THIS WILL LEAD TO DISQUALIFICATION.

The battery is to be secured and protected. It must be covered except for the terminals.
